We use wood-origin products in our manufacturing processes. An important environmental consideration is to promote sustainable forest management. We do this by maintaining Systems of Origin Control for wood-origin products, which compliance with the FSC® and PEFC Chain of Custody standards is confirmed via external certification. Thanks to that, we can offer in the market products with relevant claims in both Standards.
The activities of organisations such as FSC® and PEFC ensure sustainable management by safeguarding ecologically important forest areas or protecting and enhancing biodiversity. They also ensure that harmful chemicals are not used in the processing of wood products. They ensure that the rights of workers and indigenous peoples are respected. They support local labour markets and ensure that the activities of the various stakeholders comply with International Labour Organisation conventions.
